Xceptor, the financial sector’s leading data automation platform provider, today announced the retirement of current CEO Andrew Kouloumbrides and the appointment of Michiel Verhoeven as its new CEO. Michiel, Managing Director of SAP UK and Ireland, will take over leadership of Xceptor on April 3, 2023.
Michiel brings to the role an impressive pedigree spanning more than 25 years leading both global software corporations and tech start-ups in Europe, Asia, and North America. At SAP he is responsible for business and operations across the UK and Ireland, overseeing approximately 5,000 employees. Prior to SAP, Michiel has held management roles at Microsoft and webMethods.
Andrew will step down as CEO having led Xceptor since 2016. During this time, he has driven significant growth in the business, increasing headcount from 18 to almost 250, growing the company’s blue chip client roster from 25 to nearly 100 clients globally, and expanding into North America. Over the course of his leadership, Xceptor has become the leading data automation platform provider for global financial institutions.
